“The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...

“The location and the property was lovely. It was convenient to Acadia National Park, the park shuttle, and a few restaurants were within walking distance. But the room itself was very disappointing. There were holes in the wall, there were loose socket covers there it was a musty smell. It didn't seem as if you could lock the windows which opened easily. “Biggest issue was a very spotty wifi. AC unit pumped out an odor. Beds not great. No ventilation in bathroom causing everything to get wet from steam. Front desk, not particularly well staffed as calls were not picked up or answered on a few occasions. I would not go back and in fact, we cut our stay short and moved to a property down the street.”

“The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”

“Nice motel, you can reach the harbor in 10 minutes on foot or easily with the bus. Very good choice if you plan to visit the Acadia National Park or for whale watching or other activities in Bar Harbor.”
